6ca7 Quad | Philips - Matsushita E L 34/ 6ca7 Quad.THESE WERE MADE IN JAPAN BY MATSUSHITA ON MULLARD MACHINERY THAT MULLARD SET UP FOR THEM, AFTER MULLARD WENT OUT OF BUSINESS. This tube is featured by its single halo getter, two screen grib cooling fins, a narrow black base, grey plates with three notches and raised ridges, and a seam centering the top of the tube. These tubes were made in Japan and rival Mullard tubes as they both were manufactured by Philips who was the parent company to Mullard. This tube has been considered by many to be as good and even better than famous Mullard F series EL34's. These tubes are slightly used but is in great condition and tests exceptionally well. High end value vintage tubes such as these MATCHED QUADS are becoming harder and harder to find. |
K T 61 British G. E. C. OsramBRITISH KT61 OSRAM GEC. The KT61 is widely used in output stage of radio or commonly in the Leak TL10 point one. It's direct equivalent of EL33; 6A6G and CV type is 1438. These rare types with brown base are used tubes that test strong and are available. |

 | Telefunken + Mullard E L 84Mullard EL 84 used, tested strong matched pairs. The Mullards have factory codes showing they are from 1960's and from the British and Dutch factories. I have tested them for strength and listened to them in my 1960 Vintage Leak 20 amplifier to make sure the sound good, which they do. Here is a comment published on an auction site here in NZ from a happy customer I sent a quad to recently... I was after something specific - a matched quad of original Mullard EL84's from the Blackburn factory in England. Paul didn't disappoint -He supplied me with exactly what I was after...and man they sound good! My old amplifier is transformed. Thanks again Paul. Highly recommend Paul's services.  | KT88 GEC RARE BRITISH TUBESWe have had some very nice strong used origional very rare BRITISH GEC KT88 matched pairs of tubes come into stock from a deceased estate. These are excellent, increasingly rare original GEC KT-88 Valves made in UK, triple getter type. They appear to have had an easy life and test very strong. The labels are a bit worn off the outside and date codes no longer visible, but the plates look really clean with no signs of heat spots etc so they should be a very reliable and they sound just great both in terms of a good strong bass response and a nice clear high end. |
